I joined Pakka Inc in May 2022 as the Communications Head. My primary responsibility is to produce and promote our podcast, Good Garbage with Ved Krishna. I also have general communications goals, like evolving the brand and representing Pakka Inc at conferences and events. I am excited to learn more about the Yash Pakka family, and I look forward to working with teams across all Pakka brands.
I am originally from Minnesota, but I attended college at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. I graduated with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, with focuses in environmental science communications and sustainability. My passion lies in educating audiences about our significant environmental impact while also encouraging hope for sustainable and regenerative solutions. I am so excited to be a part of the Pakka team and contribute to the work being done to heal our planet.
What motivates me to be part of this work? As a child, I grew up immersed in the outdoors. I swam in the nearby lake, built forts in the forest behind my house, and ran barefoot around my neighborhood. Over the years, I watched as the lake became polluted and overfished. I witnessed the forest developed and torn down. I watched trash accumulate on the roadside and in the ditches. This is what drives me to enact change, to protect our planet from pollution, exploitation, and degradation.
I have been a part of Pakka Inc for a month now, and I am so impressed with the hard work and determination shown by every Pakka team member that I have encountered. We share the same passion – making an impact for a clean environment. I would love to continue to connect and hear your stories. Let’s make a difference together!
