Team Pakka Impact visited Supermarket of Lulu Mall, Bengaluru, on July 13th, 2022 and spent the day looking and understanding different materials used for packaging of foods. The learning include the packaging components and its structure (plastics / papers / metals); types of food packed (dry / wet), shelf life of the packed food and the barrier properties to be taken care. This activity provides the team to think broader and in a realistic way to solve the problem and come up with new idea on compostable packaging.
