Ved spent most of July traveling across South America. He visited Belize, Guatemala, and Columbia, searching for a new pulp mill location as we look to expand CHUK into North America. He looks forward to sharing his travels in a future edition of Yash Maitri. While he explored South America, Ved continued to interview guests on the Good Garbage Podcast.
First, Ved met with Julia Marsh, CEO and co-founder of Sway, a startup that designs and produces packaging from seaweed. In this conversation, Ved delved deep into growing a startup into a scalable business to truly make an impact. Next, he sat down with Ian Jacobson, President of Eco-Products, one of the largest distributors of sustainable food packaging products in North America. Ian shed light on the importance of branding and marketing when growing a responsible packaging business, as it strengthens the transparency between corporation and customer.
