Ved traveled to Guatemala City to meet with investors and leaders and attend a presentation about sustainable investment for industrialization in Guatemala. Though his trip was busy, he still had time during the month to interview guests for the Good Garbage Podcast.
On the Good Garbage Podcast front, we published our episode with Dillon Baxter, co-founder and CEO of PlantSwitch. In that episode, we learned how upcycled agave waste from tequila production can be used to produce compostable products with incredible potential. Dillon’s finance background and Ved’s experience with agricultural waste feedstocks provided a fascinating conversation on how agri-residues can be marketed and financed to have inherent value.
