Flexi pack: Inventiveness and advancement towards the intended goal

“The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination.” – Albert Einstein

We are utilising nature-derived materials to produce packaging that is compostable, so it is always a pleasure to be associated with Pakka’s innovation. Pakka creates new opportunities and develops packaging in a way that is distinct, and the task is more challenging and able to achieve the desired results using and at the heart of basic science.

It is our duty to make use of the new innovation lab at Acharya Institute of Technology now that we have relocated there and develop creative packaging solutions. Following the in-person periodic innovation assessment by the management team, we were able to develop the packaging structure in relation to the non-metallized strategy.

Our in-house R&D lab is highly helpful in creating the desired packaging solution and efficiently completing the lab trials. Last month was quite exciting to have, as we were able to perform various trials at the lab and scale up trials on pilot machines as well to achieve the WVTR barrier target, and to note that the testing support provided by the Pakka Ayodhya lab team is enormous, accelerating the speed of development.

Teamwork to create the ideation, problem solving, and concept reaction is also in practice during the scale-up process. In the meantime, we are in the process of collaborating with various reputed institutions, like IISc, and with international project partners.

I look forward to a wonderful and successful new year ahead.
