Hey everyone, I was born and raised in Guatemala, the Central American country just below México. With a geostrategic location, access to both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, abundant natural resources, and valuable human talent, my country has been chosen to be Pakka’s next home in Latin America. Guatemala is a very diverse country with more than 22 Mayan languages, along with two other indigenous languages (Xinca and Garifuna), various climate zones, and evident cultural richness. In recent years, we have positioned ourselves as an ideal nearshoring destination, while also being a popular tourism and living destination. There is something truly special about places like Lake Atitlán, Antigua, or the Mayan ruins in Petén. Count me in as your guide if you ever visit!
For the last six years, I’ve worked as an inter-institutional coordination specialist and foreign investment advisor. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to strengthen public institutions and foster civic engagement and participation through digital platforms. I’ve been part of key teams that helped companies in their soft-landing processes in the region, transforming that knowledge into long-term systemic projects to enhance competitiveness.
I’m excited and honored to have been selected by Ved to help lead Pakka’s expansion into Latin America as the Latam Regional Lead for Business Development and Policy Advocacy. Every training session and person I’ve met from the company resonates deeply with me and my values. It truly feels like I’ve found my place to make a long-lasting difference.
