CHUK participated in 3 day Plastic Vikalp Mela in July in Thayagraj Stadium, Delhi as the safest food service alternate to single-use plastics

The event was visited by government dignitaries and various schools to understand how #SingleUsePlasticBan has paved a way for eco-friendly brands and presented another opportunity to save our #OnlyEarth.

The government has banned the use of #singleUsePlastics w.e.f. 1st July 2022. The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) informed producers, street vendors, shopkeepers and the general public regarding the ban on single-use plastic items. These banned plastic items include decorative thermocol balls, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, flags, earbuds, candy and ice-cream sticks, PVC banners under 100 microns thickness, wrapping films, stirrers, and cutlery.
