It is my joy to come to Pakka, and many thanks for warm welcoming me.
I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea where I was born to be the youngest of five siblings in a poor family. Poverty made me learn early that there’s no free lunch in life and always work hard to achieve something meaningful.
I feel the same culture at Pakka as everyone is working hard to their heart for the success of the company, which ultimately leading to the family wellbeing. After finishing up my BS and MS in Materials Science, I married to my lovely wife (last year was 30th anniversary) and moved to United States for Ph.D. Upon finishing up my degree in 2000, last 25 years I’ve been working in various American companies in the field of sustainability, packaging, consumer products, and electronics. I am a father of two sons as they are all grown up now; elder is serving as US Army Captain and the younger is about to graduate in Computer Science major looking for a job.
In Pakka, I will be leading Product Development and Innovation bring Pakka’s 50-year legacy to US territory. This is a mega task, and I need to build the right team along with helps from you all. Looking forward to interacting more going forward.
