The past month began with the joy of celebrating Diwali with the Ayodhya team. To me, Diwali is a festival of gratitude—a reminder of the many souls connected to our lives and the countless people who bring possibilities to us.
On Chhoti Diwali, I had the opportunity to visit the homes of several colleagues, meet their families, and share a meal with their loved ones and my mother.
During Diwali, we also meet with district officials to express our gratitude. This time, it was heartening to see Pakka’s growing reputation, as all the officers warmly welcomed us with great respect and generously gave us their time. These meetings strengthen our relationships and provide valuable insights.
Every festival is an opportunity to come together. After several years, our team organized a celebration where many families participated in the Diwali puja, spreading joy. Children lit firecrackers, and this year’s Diwali became especially memorable for me as I shared a meal at Dinesh (PM2)’s home with his children. Our Group CFO, Rolando, joined us, making it the most unforgettable part of this Diwali.
On Parvah, I traveled to Lucknow to meet officials, where I experienced the strong relationships nurtured by Gautam Ji. I met many old friends and some new well-wishers, all of whom treated us with great warmth and hospitality.
Immediately after Diwali, I had to leave for Chicago as our team was participating in a trade show called Pack Expo. It was a valuable opportunity to spend time with the team and engage in meaningful discussions with industry colleagues alongside our new Marketing Head, Neylon Ji. It became clear that we need to focus our efforts strongly on flexible packaging.
Mid-month, the Kawok project team convened in Portland to discuss technology. Our aim is to make this project the world’s most advanced plant. To achieve this, we are bringing in experts from various fields to contribute their knowledge.
Work continued on the organizational structure, and its framework is becoming more defined. This month, we also discussed an incentivization system to ensure deeper alignment with our goals.
The search for new team members is ongoing, especially for strengthening our R&D efforts. Strong leadership is essential to bring about the global change we aspire to.
Satish and I worked together on discussions regarding the U.S. business, focusing on giving it the right direction.
In the coming months, we need to solidify many efforts to strengthen both projects, ensuring they are ready for focused investment and growth.
I remain committed to steering our organization on the right path to achieve our goals.
