“I have achieved the quality of multi-skill in Yash Pakka”

I have been associated with Yash Pakka Limited (YPL) for the last 17 years. And during this period, the company has undergone multiple changes, which include technical enhancement, changes in work culture, and changes in the company’s motive from mere paper production to biodegradable packaging.

These included pulping system changes from batch-wise pulping to a continuous pulping system. New 6.0 MW turbines and an integrated recovery system have been installed to enhance power generation, taking the company’s power generation from 2.5 MW to 8.5 MW.

In addition, the company’s eco-focused approach has been in the limelight. The company is plastic-free and focuses on protecting and conserving the environment.

As a professional, I have been associated with various sanghs here and have been offered the opportunity to work for R&D/Pulp Mill/Technical Services by Yash Pakka. By working on different projects in the company, I have achieved multi-skill quality.

This company has provided me with various personal benefits too. Yash Pakka is like a family to me now where we spend our time together.

In all these years, a major event has been the land acquisition that happened during PM #3 Projects- Krishna. Project Krishna was the setting up of a food-grade packaging paper manufacturing machine. During land acquisition for the project, local resistance became a major concern. Several negotiations and commitments were made with the nearby farmers and local people to resolve the issue.

The work culture is very unlike that of other companies. There is no hierarchy in the workspace, and flat management adds to providing a positive work culture. The company members have the freedom to take the initiative allowing them to develop themselves and acquire new skills. The employees’ are backed by a robust support system, which further enhances the teamwork spirit.

One should prosper and emerge as a company’s asset as Yash Pakka gives the opportunities and a skill-enhancing environment within the company. Their retention will increase the expertise of the company.

No doubt, over the last few decades, the company has moved forward at an exemplary pace. In just a few years, the business has evolved from being a domestic business to exporting 30% of its production internationally and winning numerous export awards. Further, there has been a significant enhancement in brand value.

In recent years, the company has made significant changes to provide a variety of social benefits, such as subsidized education, clean drinking water, and environmental protection.

I see Yash Pakka emerging as a major contributor toward a greener planet by providing innovative solutions in the packaging domain.
