Dear Friends,
I am thrilled to update you on the significant progress we’ve made in the past month as we steadfastly pursue our goals.
Our project team convened in Guatemala at the onset of the month, marking a pivotal moment in our journey towards becoming a world-class company. The diverse composition of our team reflects our global perspective, with 3 members from Guatemala, 3 from India, 2 from China, 1 from Mexico, 1 from Colombia, and 1 from America.
In our quest to christen the project, we sought the expertise of a local psychologist in Guatemala who provided insights into the ancient ‘Mayan’ culture, drawing parallels to their weaponry. Much like other historical civilizations, the Mayan culture’s profound connection with nature served as a wellspring of inspiration, aligning closely with our values rooted in astrology and Ayurveda. Following months of deliberation, Monica ji ingeniously proposed a name that not only resonated with us but also encapsulated the essence of our project. She graciously elucidated the significance of the chosen name, enriching our collective understanding.
The Guatemala project has undergone a transformation and is now referred to as Project Kawok, a name embraced by all involved. This term carries a profound significance akin to a horoscope, symbolizing unity with all and the flow of an all-encompassing consciousness. Monica ji, sensing that this word would infuse energy into her work, envisioned it as a driving force. For those interested in delving deeper into Mayan astrology or Shabda, additional information can be found at this link: https://www.lacasadeljade.com/en/kawok/.
With the formation of our team, we initiated the foundational engineering work, propelling us closer to the realization of our aspirations. Our collective aim is to establish a cutting-edge and environmentally friendly plant, surpassing any previous imaginings.
Previously, we encountered a setback during the search for a financial consultant, leading us to reconsider our options. After engaging with various parties, we ultimately chose Nomura, a Japanese bank renowned for its expertise in the packaging field. Proudly, they have agreed to collaborate, and progress in this financial aspect is set to resume in the coming month.
Simultaneously, efforts were directed towards the establishment of Pakka in America. The pivotal task at hand involves selecting the optimal approach to introduce our products to the American market. Numerous meetings were conducted to identify the right partner or advisor for this endeavor. Discussions with several companies took place, and it is anticipated that a decision will be made and implementation will commence in the coming days. Equally important is the selection of leadership for Pakka America, and after meeting with various candidates, it is expected that the leader will be chosen in the next few days.
Simultaneously, fostering collaboration is imperative to curate the optimal product. To achieve this, meticulous partner selection was undertaken for both paper and molded fiber, with their teams actively involved in crafting the ideal paper. I recently collaborated with my partner based in Colombia.
Furthermore, numerous additional contracts were formulated. To propel the evolution of flexible packaging, we enlisted an expert capable of offering solutions utilizing diverse bio-materials. Recognizing that innovation is the catalyst for progress, we’ve enlisted a Vishwa Guru to collaborate with our team in the upcoming months, charting the course for further development.
In India as well, significant strides were taken in securing financing arrangements for the Jagriti Project, and its framework has been solidified.
As we enter the month of March, our focus will be on convening to lay out plans for the upcoming financial year, ensuring that the objectives and contributions of each of us are transparent and well-defined.
I extend my gratitude for your consistent and outstanding efforts, and I wish you the very best for the times ahead.
Yours,
Ved
