November was a big month for the Good Garbage podcast as we welcomed two CEOs and Founders who are doing amazing work in the world of sustainable packaging – Mission Good CEO & Founder, Jenny Garbis and Scott Segal, Founder & CEO of J&J Green Paper. The conversations were incredibly insightful, and both of our guests had very unique perspectives to offer. Let us tell you a bit about them! She calls herself an energy ball who helps propel businesses to the next stage, and we couldn’t agree more!
Jenny Garbis is a Business Consultant, Growth Marketer, PR person, Lead Generator and the Founder of Mission Good – all rolled into one.
Aptly named, Mission Good is literally on a mission of supporting mission and purpose-led entrepreneurs and their businesses and her episode is nothing less than a crash course on how to successfully pitch and grow your sustainability business.
Fun fact: She was a participant on The Apprentice UK at the age of 23!
Next up, we had an immersive conversation with Scott Segal, who can be best defined as an entrepreneur with an endless thirst for finding a solution to the unknown.
From working on the farm to real estate up till the 2010s, Scott found his calling when he went back to his roots and decided to find a solution to the billions of pizza boxes ending up in landfills.
The “barrier” which prevented these boxes from being biodegradable is polyethylene and that’s where his trademarked biodegradable barrier JANUS comes into the picture.
For the rest of his intriguing journey, you’ll have to tune into our podcast!
