Dengue fever:-

Dengue fever is a common communicable disease. Its main characteristics are high fever, extreme body aches, headache, muscle and joint pain, and rashes on the body which are its main symptoms.

What causes dengue fever:-

Dengue fever is caused by the dengue virus, which is commonly known as break bone fever. It is a flu-like disease which is caused by dengue virus. Dengue is caused by 4 viruses DNB-1, DNB-2, DNB-3, DNB-4, once a mosquito bites an infected person, it acquires the virus. When this same mosquito bites an uninfected individual, the virus is transmitted through the bloodstream, enabling the disease to spread.

Treatment:-

If the patient shows even one symptom indicating DHF (Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever) or DSS (Decision Support System), then immediately take him to your nearest hospital so that the patient can be tested there as per the need and treatment can be started, such as Fluids or platelet cells can be transfused through a vein. Platelets are a type of blood cells that are reduced in DHF and DSS. Not every patient with dengue fever needs a platelet transfusion.

Rescue:-

Dengue mosquitoes breed only in water sources. To avoid drains, potholes, room coolers, broken bottles, old tires, boxes, and other places where water stagnates, do not allow water to accumulate around your house. Clean blocked drains and empty all the water from room coolers and vases once a week.

Keep water tanks and utensils properly covered so that mosquitoes cannot enter them, wear such clothes so that the maximum part of the body is covered, and get mosquito fogging done around the house so that mosquitoes die.
