Pakka team at Rethinking Materials, London!

May 2023 was all about networking and establishing connections with individuals all around the world because we attended the Rethinking Materials (Innovation and Investment Summit) in London on May 16^th and 17^th, 2023. This year’s conference had as its main theme “Scaling Materials Innovation for Decarbonization and a Circular Economy”. The Pakka’s founder, Mr. Ved Krishna, gave a keynote address on “Innovating and Scaling Regenerative Packaging Globally” on the second day of the event. He discussed The Pakka’s goal, vision, business model, as well as regenerative packaging. Dr. Ramjee Subramanian, our innovation director, participated in a panel discussion on “The Role of Packaging in Driving Materials Innovation”. Both speakers were well received, and the delegates expressed their gratitude to us.

We debuted our compostable flexible packaging for the first time on a global platform, and the reception was fantastic. We had a good time interacting with the attendees and had the chance to speak with many different company representatives. We have formed relationships and expanded our network as a result of this event, which has also taught us many new things. We had a fantastic month overall and are looking for more event like this.
