With the onset of a new academic session in July 2022,we focused our energies on preparing ourselves for serving the communities in an even better way this year. While children studying in 6 Krishna Niketans, run by our esteem partners “Jingle Bell Nursery School” and “Eklavya foundation” were visiting their grandparents during the summer vacation, our teachers were preparing for serving them even better in the next academic session through a Training of the Trainer’s program led by Eklavya Foundation. We are consolidating our learnings of this unique Hub & Spoke model of education to build a replicable model to strengthen & prioritize education in the communities.
Pakka Skills is happy to announce that it bagged the “Excellence” award for a 5S project for continual improvement presented in the Quality Circle Forum of India, a national conclave held on 25th June 2022 in Goa. We have moved one step closer to establishing ourselves as the center of excellence for the packaging industry. With this vision, we are starting 4 new domain-specific courses for paper & pulp and fiber molded products in the new academic year. We welcome our new trade heads to build excellence in our students for the global packaging industry.
Our bridge school, Khushi Khushi is working with 37 children who were forced into child labor, begging, and other practices and were deprived of education. It gives me immense pleasure to share that one of the girls, Diya from Khushi – Khushi is now studying in Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya in Noida, a government residential school for low–income background girls. She is extremely happy there and her parents too are now supporting her. Diya’s story is now influencing many students and their parents to prioritize education over child labor and begging.
As we move forward in the coming months, I will share more impact stories and would welcome you all if you wish to contribute tothe development of the communities, we all are living in.
