I am excited to introduce myself to the Yash Pakka family, and I hope you all will be equally enthusiastic to know more about me. I joined Pakka Foundation in May 2022 to lead its efforts in contributing to education, employment, and ecology for growing the community around us. I am looking forward to working with you all to build Pakka Foundation as a leading global foundation and significantly impact the quality of education, livelihood, and a cleaner environment wherever we are.
I come from Lucknow and have spent more than a decade in the social sector, working with youth to prepare them for life after school. My whole journey has been bridging the gap between education and employment by bringing academia and employers together. I am happy to see Yash Skills, now part of Pakka Foundation, work in tandem with Yash Pakka Limited, making a significant impact on building employability skills in students from nearby villages and making a substantial impact on their livelihood.
I would like to thank each of you who contributed to preparing our students for their future by being their mentors while in the factory for on-the-training visits and internships.
I want to share one of the stories that stood out for me in the last few weeks at Pakka Foundation. I am sure it will equally excite you all. Our first batch of 20 students from the pulp, paper, and fiber molded products operations course completed a month of the rigorous residential program at Central Paper & Pulp Research Institute (CPPRI). The smiles on their faces say it all.
